We are seeking two exceptional candidates to enhance the academic excellence of teaching and research within the School of Social Sciences. Both appointments would be expected to take an active role in the teaching of our successful Geography and Environmental Science programmes as well as support our taught postgraduate courses and supervise PhD research students.
In addition to teaching successful candidates are expected to carry out independent research at the highest level, publishing in high quality research journals and presenting work at major international conferences. Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate a strategy towards generating significant overhead bearing research income and producing international quality research outputs with demonstrable research impact.
